Oh yea, and if enough people order the Skyline GT-R then Nissan will bring that car over too -- NOT! Japan likes to keep the really cool versions at home!!

Have you driven an S2000 yet? Unless you race the car at the track, I think the Type-V would really be overkill!!

This is mostly a moot question. Honda is THE most tight-lipped-high-security auto manufactures ever.

I have art-directed car shoots in the same studio complex as Honda...we have "zero" security personel...If you step within 500 feet of a Honda shoot you WILL be turned back.

I recently provided Honda Gal with a Japanese site that has the production to date for the S2K. Go to S2Ki Home and see News Bulletins-USA & Japan Production. These are very accurate numbers. Honda planned to build 15,000 units per year with 5,000 to each market (i.e. Japan, USA, Europe/Oceania). It is assumed that the S2K will go for 4 years (1 cycle). A wealth of information can be found at :http://www.dry-unet.ocn.ne.jp/foe_home/ regarding colors, headlight styles (for the three markets)and actual factory production. Only problem is MOST (not all) is in Japaneese.....Good Luck!

Thanks for all the Great feedback. If it is true that they are only going to ship 20,000 S2k's to the US over the next four years it will be a great car to own. Looking for the right deal,

Jay

I already read you sig. I don't know many S2000 owners who feel the steering on their cars is lacking -- so I was just trying to figure out what the problem was...
