It is interesting to note that the chemicals and heavy metals that are in the catalytic convertor are much more toxic that any NOx. These then seep into the ground and cause heavy metal polution in the soil. If the soil that we farm on is not closely tested we will injest these toxins in the food we eat. So by buying a new cat you are poluting more.
It is more interesting to note that you are utterly and completely WRONG. All modern automotive catalytic converters use platnium group metals; platnium, palladium, rhodium on a ceramic base. Could you please enlighten me as to exactly which of these is in any way toxic? As far as I am aware the vast majority of catalytic converters are also removed and recycled for precious metal value prior to crushing and shredding. How is the recycling of non-toxic components contaminating my string beans exactly?

Spec_Ops, your Dynos were over 2 months apart.. Were all other variables kept constant... Temperature, Humidity, Engine/transmission lubricants, air filtration etc etc etc.?
If not, then that is not a "side by side" comparison and the differences could be from a combination of numerous variables as I'm sure you're well aware.

I'm done posting in this thread, it's really just too frustrating. You all have fun, and if you would like any more info about this subject, feel free to PM me.

Ok, you got me. So I BS-ed a little but that makes it fun . True PGMs aren't toxic and probably aren't going to show up in your string beans.

However since you aren't too far away from Atlanta, I have a meeting for you its tomorrow!!!
