you really dont have to get to fancy. if you are only going to do oil changes get a set of those ramps, if you really want a jack and stands Larin makes some they sell at advance autoparts I belive I saw a package deal, jack and 2 stands for 44.99

 

OK, I did it. I picked up a lo-profile jack at sears for $39. Got the front passenger side up, placed jackstand under front center lift point, drained oil, removed jack stand, took car off jack and left oil to drain completely. While the car was of the jack and stand I replaced the oil filter. I then raised front passenger side again, jack stand under front center lift point and replaced drain plug plus a new crush washer. Removed jack stand, lowered car off jack and added 5.1 qts of 10w30.

Now can someone who has actually done this please explain how they can possibly do this with ramps when it would be impossible to actually drain all the oil if the car is on ramps?

I had a beech of a time doing it at home since that plastic cover has to be moved out of the way....diffuser?

It cost me the same amount for my friend to do it at the Honda Dealer....and I didn't have to do it on a day off.

 

check the dipstick, i think you may need another half quart
