Sorry of this has been asked before....only picked my car up 4 days ago.

I have bought the 'Rear Wind Break' which fits between the headrests to improve ariflow over the back of the car with the hood down + therefore less buffeting inside the cockpit.

Has anyone got any expierience of using the wind break - is it worth buying

 

I got the honda version and although definitley better than no windbreak, I hear that there are a few after-market ones sucj as Ricks' which are supposed to be a lot better.

Search the baord for aeroscreen and you should find a few threads.

 

CJ - will do - could not think what they proper name for the bit was (aeroscreen).

 

I've found the aeroscreen to be very useful. With the windows up, it makes a huge difference on long, fast trips. I also hear it's better with the tonneau installed, but I haven't tested this.

Rick Hesel sells a taller version that many people have praised highly, but it's my understanding that you need the stock base to install the taller screen into. Since you'd have to buy the stock screen anyway to get the base, you may want to try the stocker first and then add Rick's piece if you want still better protection.

Call me scatalogical, but I was glad this post turned out to be about aeroscreens and not flatulence

 

I had the stock Honda aeroscreen and replaced it with Ricks 7/8's screen. Major differance in the amount of wind in the cockpit. Also the head rests help block more of the wind that is forced through the stock mesh head rests.

PS., of all the mods I've got on the car (performance, sound, and aesthetics), I think this was the one best mod I'd ever got...
