Default Wind noise/Water leakage

okay so here's the deal I just got my car back (Friday) from almost a 3 week period of time which I had the car in for warranty service. It's been a while since I've driven my car so I didn't know what to expect.

while it was in their being serviced they replaced my driver side window molding (to be more specific it was the front top molding) cause I had some leakage coming in nothing severe yet

The symptoms: after 40 mph I have a lot of weird air turbulence noise occurring from the top (driver side) I've never notice it being that loud but then again I haven't had the car in almost a month

and today it was pouring rain, and water was getting in . every time I closed the door it sounded like a wet sponge being squeezed, basically the molding rubbing on the window sounded like it was saturated in water

anyway's I brought it back to Honda so they can see what I was talking about before they think I'm crazy. I've got it verified and check so now I got to bring it back to the service dept Monday

is this an easy fix or did they mess something up??

They may be addressing the problem from the wrong direction. I have a 5 year old car and although there is some wind noise from the driver's window at the back bottom part of the glass, it has never leaked water regardless of how hard it's rained. This is both driving in it and parked in it.
It might be time to suggest to them to go inside the door and actually adjust the window glass so it angles a bit more inward at the top. This will help it to push harder on the rubber when the door is closed. And yes, tell them to look in the service manual. A window glass adjustment is possible.

If you developed a home remedy book for the S2000's, I'd pay for my spot just to be on the waiting list!!!!

yep doesnt sound like to common of a problem, if it was tons of windnoise then you need new strikers but you have an 05 so thats weird

UPDATE: took my car out after it was done raining, when I closed the door a splash of water hit my face. got in and out my car about 3 time's and it did the same thing every time.

I drove for about 20 miles and started squeezing the the trim they replaced, it still sounds like a drenched sponge being squzeed out

oh they did replace both my striker's maybe that had to do with something

I find it odd that your rubber trim sucks up water. Even though you have a relatively new car and the rubber being be fresh and new, as a precaution, you might want to consider getting some silicone grease and treating all the rubber along the windshield frame and those parts of the soft top that surrounds the side window.
Additionally, I would propose that "perhaps", when they installed the new strikers, they may have not done so with Loctite on the bolt threads and the bolts simply just won't hold fully screwed in.
Next, I would propose that the latch mechanisms on the soft top may be in need of "shimming". It could be that some shims may need to be removed or some may need to be added. When you latch the soft top, you should be able to visibly see the windshield rubber compress quite markedly. If you don't, then things must be addressed to make it so.
Of course, being a new car, this is the responsibility of your dealer. If they have little experience with S2000s, it might be time to find a different dealer. Your warranty should be honored all any Honda dealer.

thanks for the info, this is actually the 2nd dealer I brought it to. I've already have a case with American Honda regarding the dealership I purchased my car from
I chose planet Honda because they did fix my 2001 civic quite promptly when it had issue's . anyway's I'm hopping for the best this Monday so they can have all the issue's solved.

they also fixed a clicking noise whenever I fully turn the wheel, I was wondering should they have given me a alignment job cause when the steering wheel is straight it swerves to the left..
