Default Window tape

I have searched and read how many have fought honda about their paint being screwed up under the window tape, on the grounds that in the brosures the tape was removed, well in my 2003 sales brosure all of the tape is on the cars in every picture. Just letting every one know so take off the tape at your own risk.

after one week of ownership of my 2003 S2K, Damn rock chip the middle of the window tape. after reading many post about possible unfinished paint under the tape, I took the plunge and removed the tape. Fortunately, paint was perfecto! Tape came off easy with little help with a hair dryer.

I have an '01' and removed my tape over the winter, with a little effort and some glue remover it is great. I like it much better than the tape.

I removed mine about 6 months after I got it. It is the best mod I have made $$ wise. Pretty easy, although I had some glue left over, the best way to get that off is bug and tar remover in the aerosol can. (the no run kind)

BTW, hotredjohn, that is a sweet bike. I am one of the few here on this site that LOVES Harley's. If you have any pics of it and have nothing to do, feel free to PM me a few.
