My s2000 is just under 2 months old and the driver side window auto down (the only auto down for the matter) seems to be flaky. I first noticed it a few weeks ago when I put the top down. The driver side window stopped going down after about 2 inches of travel. Now the window is stubborn and probably only makes it all the down with auto 30-40% of the time. I thought it was the relay, but thinking more about it makes me doubt that. The passenger side doesn't have an auto down option but automatically goes all the way down when the roof is pulled off.

Any thoughts?

I have to bring it in to get the alarm installed anyway. Would be good to be armed before I get there.

Thanks,

J

do a search and you'll note it's a common occurence. there's a TSB out there for it, go to your dealership and get it done under warranty

This is a common problem and will be replaced by the dealer. Happened to me once and I know of some others that have had it replaced at least twice. The dealer will have to order and replace the motor / regulator. You might want to give them a call ahead of time so that they can make sure they have the part in stock when you arrive.

Also, if you do a search, you'll find a bunch of threads on this topic.

Well, I had this same problem two months ago and had the dealer replace the motot/regulator. Just yesterday, it started doing it again (not going down all the way). I will call the Service Manager and Parts Manager and have them order "another" motor/relay and schedule it in for this repair again! All is covered under warranty.
