If you look in the new book "S2000" , you will see that the area that surroubds the windshiels IS A ROLL BAR extending all the way down to the frame. It has a clear picture of it in the book, and where it attaches. Honda did a rollover test ( not required by the US Tests ), and the car was supported by the windshield rollbar.
It is very strong, all you have to worry about is finger prints !!!
