The following images are of user-installed screens using an earlier version of the Windscreen Lights...

Ravenwerk's screen in blue
Due to numerous questions on how to install the Windscreen Light modules and prior threads being cluttered with other people advertising their wares (causing threads to be heavily edited and/or closed), I decided to put together a no-frills thread that gave the basic info necessary for installation. Note: I do not offer an etching service. I merely provided the LED light modules. Feel free to ask any install questions you may have here...
The latest and greatest edition is completely self-contained, combining the LEDs and control circuitry onto the same small board (0.6" x 1.3"). This removes the need to have a control box stashed somewhere, and the only connections necessary can be tapped directly off of the car's stock wire looms.
Tools Needed:
1) Dremel w/cutting disc (or small file)
2) 1/8" drill bit
3) Goop or clear caulk
4) Wire cutters/strippers
5) Soldering iron or vampire taps
6) 6-conductor, 24 Gauge wire
2) The LEDs and PC board require a small amount of the screen be removed (using a Dremel tool or file) to make room for the unit inside the mechanism's "horn". The board is then glued into place with Goop or clear silicone caulk. For the best lighting conditions, make sure the LEDs are aligned with the edge of the screen and not hanging off of one side or the other. Some of the internal ribbing also needs to be removed to allow the wire to be installed under the plexiglass screen itself. Once the screen is screwed back into place, there will be plenty of friction between the wire and screen to hold it in place. Only one board is shown here, but simply mirror the procedure for the other side.
3) Next, make a hole for the wires to run out of the rear of the folding mechanism, and a second hole in the mechanism's base toward's the secret compartment. Using a 1/8" bit, drill several holes next to each other in a line to make an elongated oval cutout. A small loop of wire is the only visible evidence the mechanism has been modified. Run the wire out the back of the hinged mechanism and down through the bottom of the mechanism's mounting plate, as shown. If you want to completely hide the wire, you can carefully run it down along the actual hinge. This can be done for both sides, OR the wires may be connected inside the mechanism to allow for a cleaner install (with only one wire coming through).
4) The cable comes through the secret compartment lid and through the side wall of the secret compartment itself. There are cleaner ways of doing this, but it doesn't get in my way and was easy to do. Remove the two mounting clips behind the driver's seat (one screw in each clip) and remove the panel. Feed the cable through the secret compartment's sidewall into the area behind the panel you just removed.
5) Continue feeding the wire through that area towards the driver's sill (all wires you need to connect to are in the wire bundle beneath the sill). Follow the wire colors listed below for final installation/connection.
Some suggestions:
1) If you only want the Windscreen Lights to come on when you turn on your headlights, attach the power lead to the red/black wire. The wire provides power to the brakelights when you turn on the headlights.
2) Attach the ground lead to any convenient point, such as a screw or nearby ground block.
3) Attach the brake lead to the white/black wire. If you do not want the screen to turn red when braking, leave this wire unattached.
4) Attach the reverse lead to the green/black wire. If you do not want the screen to turn white when reversing, leave this wire unattached.
5) Although I make no guarantees how it will look having one side of the screen lit one color and the second side flashing amber, you can leave the turn signal inputs to each module separate and connect them to the appropriate turn signal wire. Attach the left turn signal lead to the green/red wire, and the right turn signal lead to the green/yellow wire. If you do not want the screen to flash amber with the turn signals, leave these wires unattached. Note: Ignore any silver dots on the wires as these mean nothing.
If I have missed any information, I will edit this first post to reflect those changes.
