The eBay item bracket appears to be cut from flat plastic sheeting. If you wanted to precisely replicate the OEM bracket (but longer) I'd say it would be an injection moulding job. On anything other than large runs this can become prohibitively expensive making the cost of the product rise substantially. It's certainly possible though.
