Default Windshield top shaded factory tinted

Hi

Does anyone noticed that S2ks dont have the top shaded factory tinted on their windshields or just mine? I called the dealer and they told me S2ks dont come with it.

Thanks,
Tim

If they were to add that shaded portion to the S2000's windshield, it would take up at least a 3rd of the glass, and be very much in your direct line of sight. You wouldn't want this tinting/shading on your windshield - and that's exactly why you don't.

At 6'2" I can't see stop lights as it is. I probably couldn't drive it tinted.

I'm not all that tall, but I find that I look through the top 1/3rd of the windshield and probably could not see at night if it was shaded. A good pair of sunglasses will do the trick for you and enhance your race-car-driver-look.
