nvrquit4, you don't have tape on your black S because it doesn't come with any; the only color as far as I know that comes "tape-less".

Come on, folks! Check out the photo galleries. There are lots of pictures with and without tape. Do a search, and people tell you how to, step by step. It's here...just look a little.

P.S. I don't mean to be a total AH...but have you even "looked" around this website?

i took the tape off last night and i think it looks great i don't understand why they don't take it for from the factory. it was pretty easy the only hard part was getting the left over glue from the tape. i used the 3m adhesive and wax remover it made the job simple. i would recomend doing this to your car if you still have the tape on your car

Ok after looking closely at several pics with and without it, I finally see what everyone is talking about. Thanks. I actually went home during lunch and took it off. Tape came off pretty easily except for some adhesive that remained. Used WD40 and took remaining adhesive off. Looks way better.

is the paint underneath the tape clear coated??? or does it feel rough to the touch like the paint on the body underneath where the door opens. always wondered this...if its clear coated, then my tape is gone!!!
