The winter blues thread...
Even though you don't DD the car, don't tuck it away permanently in the winter. I find one one day a week minimum where conditions are nice enough to get a 'spirited' drive.
Even if its to pick up Chinese Take Out 3 miles away, I get my 'winter' fix.
We may have a couple feet of snow in the yard, but the roads are clear and dry now.

what u daily guys do for rock chips? i recomend going to a paint shop in the spring and getting a small amount of your color mixed up even if its just basecoat. Here's what you do. take and dip a toothpick in the paint untill when u pull it out of the paint its about to drip off the end, you then use that to fill the crater caused by the chip and when it dries you cant even tell there were any look perfect especially on a front bumper. It doesnt even have to be shiny paint it can be just basecoat. as long as it isnt spread over the chip and just fills the low spot it turns out awesome

My favorite thing is when it's packed snow on the roads and I take the S (with it's snow tires) and go for a drive, passing 4x4s that are crawling along because they're scared.
We have a lot of California transplants in this area who arent used to the snow and get 4x4s to help, but it doesnt change the fact that they're not used to it and nervous.
I get a lot of looks when I pass them with the top down in the snow

Personally, snow isn't the white stuff I'm afraid of. It's salt. So no once a week jaunts for me. Plus, putting my S under storage insurance during the winter saves me a bit of money.
Embrace winter. I, for one, enjoy skiing. It keeps me sane when I can't drive. There's also indoor karting.
Moving to California is not an option because I like seasons and owning land
