The winter blues thread...
Where do some of you live? The Himalaya Mountains? lol I'm in NY, and maybe 4-5 days of the winter months are considered "bad". Yes it is cold, but it's clear out. Whats the difference? lol Well im just speaking for people in NYC. We don't get that much snow (except for recently). I work from home, so I rarely use the S except to go to the gym and weekends. I love driving my car and couldn't see myself "storing" it for months!
i drive my passport more often and i usually buy more guitars in the winter time. I've played since i was a kid and i go back and forth between my hobbies of guitar and my car. i just bought 2 guitars last week. i paid off alot of credit card debt and i had some $$ left over so i got some new toys
move to CA or FL
it will always bother u, man
i used to live in Boston, and then moved to LA (took my S with me)
it's SSSSOOOO much better here
the weather, the amazing variety of twisty canyon roads, the hot-ass women
Boston does not even come close... nowhere near
P.S. i drove the S year-round, on a daily basis in Boston... on S02s
everything was GREAT, even driving on snow... until i hit black ice mid-turn... worst feeling ever

I live in Colorado, and I have been driving it in the snow the past 2 days. It was a scary as hell drive last night. I left work at midnight, and I wasn't too sure if there was ice on the road so I took it slow at about 25-30 mph, but I would get on this one lane road with a lot of hills...and there was a Camry that was literally an inch away from hitting my backend if they didn't slow down. So I moved into the opposite lane so they could pass because I don't want my car being hit. Then you have a car with no headlights zooming around you and trucks etc. Just please don't hit my car!
I feel sorry for the engine when it starts up in the cold, seems like it has a difficult time getting itself going.

Unfortunately I don't have snow tires on my car, just all season. I've felt some slippage on the way home just on a straight away, so I took it slow the whole way.
Once I get the money, I'll invest in new wheels and have summer and winter tires.
