also curious as i have done this man times with my civic....like the past 5 years... and now my s2k is on stands wheels are in the basement away from uv light in black trashbags to maintain the rubber

 

Pretty much what I've done for the last decade with my cars. I also put an indoor cover on them and a big bowl of silica gel inside the car with the windows up. I pull them out once or twice through the winter to dry them out in the oven and replace back into the car.

 

Where does one obtain silica gel?

 

I probably got mine on eBay... I think it's something like a gallon size.

 

You could roll your own.
