I have to ask....why does the wiper relay click, and the turn indicator relay doesn't? I wish the clicking was the other way round; I'm often in need of a reminder to cancel the turn indicators.

BTW, has anyone even tried changing out the wiper relay with a compatible relay from a regular parts store to see if the clicking problem goes away?

I wonder if the '02 relay is actually different or if there is just more insulation. Anyone?

I solved this problem by avoiding the rain at all costs...Ever since then, I haven't had this problem.

I really think the relays are different in the MY'02s. With the engine off and the car in the quiet garage, I hear absolutely no clicking when I set the wipers to intermittent.

(Edited for typo.)

yup, I have that clicking noise too. Like everyones been saying, Rain-X works great. You hardly have to turn on the wipers so long as you maintain a fresh coat of it.
