WooHoo!!! Getting our Spa Yellow 03 in August
Well, sorry just a little excited...But the title says it all. We went down and put a deposit on our 03 today. They said they just ordered it and it is being built? It will be here sometime in August. Whats cool is this car was meant for us. This is the last 03 they are ordering and it just happened that they ordered the color we wanted. Anyways enough rambling, we are just so excited we cant wait.
BTW what's the normal "break in" procedure...I know, I know I could do a search, but I was just wondering what rpm to keep it under and how many miles are recommended. Thanks for looking

Reliable was something my MR2 was not, but what can you expect when you about triple the rwhp from stock

do lots of engine compression braking, it helps seat the oil rings. my engine is very good at not burning oil and feels faster than all other stock s2ks ive driven, it could just be mental though.
anyways, try this on the highway.
put it in 5th or 6th, take rpms up to 5000-5500 rpm. completely let go of gas, don't break either. let the engine slow the car down by itself. just make sure no one is behind youi when u do this.
other tips:
-avoid vtec for first 600 miles
-only go up to 5500 rpm for first 600 miles
-take it easy on the clutch and brakes, these breakin too(no hard braking, clutch drops, etc)
-let the car warm up (atleast 2 bars) before driving, if you like to drive hard

Razor....Thanks for the info and tips
I dream of S....Keep dreaming
Haha j/k... Well I mentined what my plans are above, I am not really going for performance upgrades with this car, been there done that...I will add a few bolt ons for performance but I am going with more show than go. The car is already faster than most cars out there, so I'll leave it at that.
