...so i went for an easy ride through the canyons last night. there is one particular corner that goes flat out in third gear. usually. because it was a mellow ride, i went easy on it, but somehow i managed to hit 155 in that corner nevertheless. hold on, something's fishy here. so full stop, and sure enough: first gear goes now to 80 mph (yes, thats murcielago territory), second gear to 120 mph (f*** the M3), third gear to 180 mph (koenigssegg, get out of THAT way) and so on ....

so i'll go to the shop this morning to have my speedo replaced. wondering what caused this. milage count is also off between double and tipple.

oh btw, for some reason, our speedo can not display more than 198 mph. that really sucks. really fast cars do 200+

 

Are you sure your cluster wasn't just set to km/h?

he said he was only at 4k rpms... so it coulnd't have been in km/h

hopefully there is a legit way to turn back all those extra miles your car counted for you, that sucks...

we are already 6% ahead of legitimate measurements according to a recent honda recall. I think my05 and under after affected by this

 

still too high for km/h...
