Yes, I'm still having problems with my work wheels. Can anyone please help me with their own setups?

What offset should the 18" Work Miesters be? What tyres and size should I be using without rubbing.

I'm running 225/40/18 Falkens on the front with stock suspension. When I drive the stook hard, the front tyres scrub the fender lip, even in a straight line!

What can I do? Try different brand tyres? Sizes? help???

PLEASE!!!

The correct fitment for the S2000 is this:

Front: 18x8: Offset: 51mm: Tires: 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9: Offset: 60mm: Tires: 255/35/18

Make sure the wheels you got had these offsets. Where did you buy it from? I've heard of people having rubbing problems only w/BF Goodridge tires (Only if you lower it).

I've got the work wheels 18x8 and 18x9 with Toyo Proxes T1S tires at 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear with stock suspension initially and later with Comptech adjustable. No rubbing with either. Did someone accidentally put the tires on the wrong wheels? ie 18x9 up front and 18x8 rear?

nickd,

The 225/40/18 Toyo Proxes T1-S tires are not as boxy as your 225/40/18 Falkens. Your Falken's tread width is probably larger than the T1-S tires.

So here are your options.

1. Still run the 225/40/18 Falkens and roll the fender lip.

2. Run on some 215/40/18 Falkens.

3. Run on some 225/40/18 Proxes T1-S.

nickd,

How low did you drop your car?

What kind of springs or coil overs did you use?

I have the Works with 225/40 18 + 265/35 18 BF Goodrich G-force T/A KD tires and have lowered the car about 1" with Mugen Coilovers (used them as they came pre-set)...

I NEVER rub the front tires during the hardest of cornering/bumps but ocassionally rub the rears (I will raise the rear a bit in the future)...

Something is not installed correctly...
