Any idea on cost of the S2Rs? I could search but am too lazy. I love um but not sure about 17 or 18. I'd be a bit concerned about the shallow sidewall on the 18 and damaging the rims in potholes. Also the brakes would look a bit small in an 18" wheel IMO.

RM Racing carries 18s for $2700/set (though their site does not state the offsets). One of our fellow board members bought a set & received a 10% s2ki discount...but he wasn't sure if this discount still applies.

I also hear that Comptech carries these wheels, but they don't show them on their web.site at all. I'll be giving them a call if I get closer to my purchase.

As for the 17s. I have not found a source/price yet, but from Work's web.site, the recommended wheels for the S2000 are as follows...

front: 17 x 7.0 +48mm / 205/50-17
rear: 17 x 8.0 +55mm / 225/45-17

...and it has been suggested (by a very well-respected board member) to try...

front: 17 x 7.0 +48mm / 215/45-17
rear: 17 x 8.0 +55mm / 245/40-17

I'll be going with this set-up if I end up with the 17s (though I have been told that the 17" S2Rs don't look quite right).

Probably more info than you wanted, but I just thought I'd share what I've learned about these wheels through some very-generous board members!

Call Bob Roberts at RM Racing for the S2R's. Back when I bought mine he told me that he specifically worked with Work Wheels to get a perfect offset S2R wheel for the S2000. I don't know if he's full of crap, but that's where I got mine, and I didn't see the same offset's available on the Work website that I got from RM Racing. I don't remember what those numbers for the exact offset are now because it was about 5 montha ago when I bought them. He delivered them to me for a price of $2,430.00 but I don't think that discount is available any longer. Here's some pics of my Work's on my non-lowered S2K. Read my signature to get the tire sizes I used. I get no rubbing. But I'm not lowered so I shouldn't. Oh, and I belive they're 2-peice forged rims.
