I'm not worried about theft...I'm worried I'll be so pissed or depress when someone tries to steal it etc. or in the process of stealing something damages everything, I'll gain what I'll prolly lost but waste time and anger.

I don't worry to much about theft because I am rarely away from the car and when I am it is locked up in a garage. It could happen of course, but it is not something I worry about unless we are at a hotel or something.

Agreed with that. I went so far as to get 2 sets of locks, along with the lugs that need a key. I also did a short hub/quick release/lock/nardi steering wheel as well.

That's one of the best stoppers IMO. Regardless of what you have done to your car, if someone wants it bad enough, they can get it. Anyone who thinks there car is 100% theft proof is BS. We can only put devices that stop theives that don't know how to overcome that device. There's always someone better than the next.

I posted the a similar question on here when I got my s. I'm rolling on works s1 3 piece. I was rolling on my stockers when I posted the question. I'm so glad I switched to the works. Makes the car [ ]<- that much more exciting. + you enjoy the car 8345620837450x more.

I'm happy to hear someone with the same taste in wheels has the same concern. Is the handling that much different with the new S1s? Also, did you get the 8/9.5 set and do you notice anymore oversteer with them? Thanks.

i have 7 1/2 in front. They were sized for BBK.

I dont drive the car extremely hard with the wheels on, but so far, no oversteer issues.

i have 18" racing hart c2s, my insurance company insures them for like an extra $40 a year. They insure up to 10% the price of the car. and just be sure to have wheel locks. bottom line though: if someone wants your car bad enough they will get it or at least damage it. just live with the fact that there are crappy people and that is what insurance is for. take the proper precautions and move on. no point in being paranoid all the time, it just material possessions.

Definitely worry about theft with the S2000, even though I just have a bone stock car.

The car just catches too much attention, which I kind of don't like.

There are a lot of much more expensive cars in where I live -- i.e. Porsches, M3s, M5s, BMW 6-series, tons of MB SLs, AMG CLKs, etc. People don't turn their heads around much when they see those cars (probably cuz they got used to seeing them), but they certainly do look at my bone stock S for quite some time ... (and no, they aren't turning their heads because I drive like a moron)
