Actually you probably could go to any tire shop and have tehm remove the bad lug bolt and install a new one. That or you can try to get Honda to replace it under warrenty

It shouldn't be that big of a problem without one lug.. As long as the rest are tight, but get this fixed ASAP.. You shouldn't be driving like that too long, just while you get it fixed!
It also shouldn't cost that much to fix. You might be able to do it yourself, they sell lugs at any Auto parts store. Lug are only a few bucks.. If you take it somewhere to get fixed, expect to pay around $30-50. Just my opinion.. Good luck..

So you tried to take a spare tire off of another car and put it on your S? You're lucky the worst thing that happened was a few messed up lugs. Sounds like you either need to join AAA, put your spare back in, or throw a can of fix-a-flat in the trunk for next time.

Desperate times???

You were in a HOTEL parking lot. Ever think of going into their lobby and calling a tow truck to tow your car back home??? $45 is probably the max you would have had to pay to get your car safely towed back home without damage. Now you have the hassles of having to replace the lug studs AND getting the tire fixed, not to mention another S2k owner that now doesn't have a spare. Unless you gave him a couple hundred bucks, I don't think that's going to cover the cost of him buying another one. Hopefully you return it to that owner as soon as possible.

i did the same thing to my car (snapped a lug bolt) and honda replaced it for me under warranty!

Try this first....if all else fails, it should only be about $40 or $50 to get it replaced at the dealership (parts and labor)

Did you put the spare on the front or the back?

If you get a flat in one of the rear tires you are supposed to take BOTH front tires and put them on the back, and then put the spare and the good rear on the front to keep from messing up the LSD.

i thought you only had to have one wheel on the front ( the spare is a smaller diameter, hense the problems it can cause to the diff) as long as you have 2 16" wheels on the back you should be fine, and tire width should not matter.
