You will probably be surprised how much it will cost to "repair" this. Good luck.

:iagree; and so will the other person. That's why I think it might be hard to get them to pay when tey arent obligated to.

I sympathize. My car wasn't three weeks old and I was hit too. Hang tough with the insurance and get a good body shop. I hope we aren't cursed as s2000 drivers. Many of us have just bought the cars and someone is driving into us.
Don't get too paranoid though. There is just a lot of terrible - not bad- terrible driving out there. Stay agile and drive defensively and with much attitude. I'm almost considering driving with my lights on all the time unless it's a sunny day.
good luck

I had the same type of RR wheel-curb impact on a Civic. Beware of late-appearing damage! About 3-4 weeks after the initial repairs, I heard a grinding noise from the same wheel and had to have the wheel bearings replaced.

When I wrecked my S2000, for OE replacements on my rearend, suspensions, and body panels, I would've had to pay out the ass. I ended up only going OE for body panels, pick-a-part on rearend and suspension pieces, and aftermarket on coil-overs and brakes.

It was MUCH cheaper. And now I can lap around 5sec faster.
