Default Would this beat the S2k?

Now that nearly every car in the Si’s segment is turbocharged, it is possible that the Si could see its first (factory) turbo engine in 2011. If that happens, we foresee at least 240 hp for the 2012 Civic Si, and some big, wide grins on our faces

Since the Civic is smaller and lighter, I wonder if 240HP SI would beat the S2k

Probably. Doesn't matter either way.

Still not a convertible, or a 2 seater.

Or RWD? Unlike other cars in its segment: Genesis, FT-86, Mustang(?)

True, but for people like myself who want the S2k 2 seat convertible for w/e and a nice sport Turbo Type - R for dd, this turbo SI sure would be perfect for every day driving

no way, honda will never turbo the civic. If they are increasing displacement, its most likely just going to see a modest hp bump to compete with the other 200+ hp cars in its class. Id guess we are gonna get another K series varient. maybe in the 220 hp area so compete with the others.

May I ask why you'd think that?
Just curious......

Basic points already brought up.. Not rwd, a convertible, nor a two seater. Who wants a turbo fwd performance car anyway? Somebody that actually enjoys surprise torque steer?
