go ap1, worst thing is u dont like the supercharger and the suspension, atleast then u would have something to sell or trade for other mods. Obviously make sure it is in good condition but if it is i would def go with the AP1, plus 9k is more fun than 8. lets see what argument that starts

Price? Depending on how much they want for either car, id go with the AP1 and part it out or drive it. Depends on what YOU want the car for. Keep in mind if you buy the AP2, your going to have to shell outa extra money for mods assuming you want to go fast.

 

I'd go for the SC'd AP1 if you had enough left over for a glass top or hardtop. 300whp + 9k redline = big fun.

 

Get the AP1. Just make sure it's in good condition.

 

welp,I have an '01 ap1 SC & '04 ap2 stock.If the rest of the drivetrain on the ap1 is stock you'll end up spending more $$ to upgrade the rest of it to handle the SC.Just go out and vtec 2-3-4th and smell dat clutch burn ratatatratat OHHH...WHAT WAS THAT.....Oopss there goes the diff Never said,what your plans for the car were ? DD,Autox,track,posing? Nah,you won't have to do anything to it

The car was a show car with only 3500 miles on it, running just 6lbs. of boost.Spun the shyt out of the stock clutch.

 

get the 2004. I would NEVER buy a used boosted car that didn't come from the factory that way.
