another thing to consider.
traction with the supercharger.

if you are new to RWD, it might be scary.
I see that Ckit already posted in this thread. Perhaps he'll be back to chime in about racelogic. (its <1500$ installed)

something to think about...
are u at all worried about mileage, considering you DD it. i guess you can always pull the belt off the SC?
do you have another way of getting to school/work if something goes wrong with your SC.

if the seller is on s2ki, run a search for his posts and see if hes being honest about tracking it/auto-x

glwt

edit: compression test a must, i imagine on the SC car? (or any ap1)

Should i get a full ase inspection at a honda dealership for the 01? Do they inspect cars that are FI'ed?

The seller said there is about 20k-30k miles on the sc and still running fine if that helps.

Yes, i will have a second car just in case there are problems. I probably drive at most 100miles a week 70%highway/30%streets.

How much would you pay for an an 01 sc'd, Teins Full Flex Coilovers w/ EDFC, 54k miles in good condition? I just want to see if im getting a good deal

get the 2004. I would NEVER buy a used boosted car that didn't come from the factory that way.

In 2 years, you will be driving a 10 year old modified car.

I believe you'll be paying more for the 01 interest rate wise as compared to the 04.

buy stock because you don't know what the previous owner has done to the car and how he abuse it. I rather buy stock with no possible problems then buying a car that is force induction and run in to problem with it.

Lucky boy.Mine spun with just 3500 original miles on it after vtec'ing about 10 times.Car was amazingly clean top and bottom. The pros at DA said they believed the original mileage, were amazed by the condition of the car.Said it was in exceptionally good shape for an '01. I never did a single clutch drop in it.
I even do auto-x and drop the clutch for every run!

I have to bring this up, but: There's usually always a reason someone is selling their car, usually a reason other than 'I need cash fast'... just be careful with the 01 since it's FI... IMO...
the "i need cash fast" migh be worse as its probably some student/kid without the proper funding and care for the car
