ap1 because a poorly maintaiend 85k ap2 will show its previous owners lack of care and wont last long.

AP1 to fit your price range, just wait for the right one. Find one thats been babied and not abused on track etc.

I like certain aspects of both ap1/2. My perfect s2k would be a hybrid of both.

What year ap2?

If yo uget 06+ you can flashpro it for cheap. Ap1 required a piggy back system.

Personally I'd rather have a lower mileage car and they can be found. Not during the winter so much but come spring/summer.

AP2 hands down. I would go with the AP1 only if the AP2 had over 100,000 miles and had even the smallest modification. I intentionally bought mine with high mileage from a female one owner, who drove all highway about 60 miles a day. No paintwork sealed the deal for me. The added torque is easier to daily drive and updated exterior makes the car look much newer than it actually is. VSA <if the car your looking at has it> is great to have and I don't think the AP1s have it so I could be wrong.. My 2 cents..

I think all of you are missing that the AP2 is going to be out of his price range. Just sayin he's capped @ 13k

Yeah, i'm assuming i can get an 04-05 with 85k miles for 13k or an 01 (now leaning to 02-03 if I got an ap1) for the same price but with only 45k miles.

So my decision is higher mileage on ap2 or lower mileage on ap1 for same price.

Im more directing that at the folks that are telling you 06+'s are yadda yadda yadda

I'd buy the AP1 with the lower miles...my money says it's been better taken care of and has been garage kept.
