i dont know how mechanically correct i am in saying this, but I was watching a documentary of the making of the bugatti veyron, and found out that it produces 125hp per liter on a turbocharged engine, i smiled knowing my s2000 makes 120hp on a n/a motor.

the S is stil a remarkable vehicle

 

not sure if this is correct but i think inline pro made 996whp on a 2.7L that is 368.889 whp per liter.

 

iirc the s200 had the most hp per liter for a good number of years, i think a recent ferrari beat it
