not going to talk about torque, since it's non-existent in our cars, but that's the joy of a car like the s, we have to rev it high.
I don't miss the torque mostly because I love revving it high anyway just to listen

Maybe only 1 or 2 times during the 8 years I've owned this car have I thought, "Damn, no torque".

^ my gf has a bmw 135i and it has gobs of torque down low (compared to the s2000) and i drive her car often. perhaps that's why i feel the difference. i like the s2000 better though.

I wonder how many liters of horsepower I could buy with $1,100,000 worth of S2000s

Even figuring what I paid for my car when it was new, that's 80.6 liters and a total of 9680 horsepower.

The Veyron might be nice, but I'll take the 36 S2000s and change instead

Oh yeah, to make a slightly more apples to apples comparison, I have a friend that bought a supercharged AP1 for $17K, tuned it and dynoed it earlier this year and made 385 horsepower. That's 192.5 HP/L. Significantly more than 125. And 64.7 of those would be a total of 12,455 horsepower for your $1.1M

I just wanna have sex on top of a bugatti veyron hood, I could care less about owning one. This machine will burn a hole in my small wallet, I would rather enjoy being in full orgasim ecstasy, then having to pay for tires just to take it for a 15min joyride.
