wreck
Ok today we were finally able to remove the car from the wreck yard. We got to see everything under the car while lifting it and turns out, I had a tire blowout without even knowing it. I couldnt really tell before since the car was so low to the ground but there is a huge hole the size of a baseball on the inner side of the rear right tire. Guess this ****ed me over... Anyways the axle is fine, the tire is angled all horribly because of some broken bar? I dont know what it is.
If Salar does decide to "fix" his S2000, I feel sorry for whoever buys it, as they will essentially be paying "clean" title prices for what in reality is a "salvage" title car - that is unless of course Salar shows the pictures included in this thread as part of his sales pitch...
All joking aside Salar, sorry for your bad luck, and I hope this whole ordeal ends up costing you as little as possible.

I just hope no potential customers come along this forum much.

As for it being repaired - the figures people are giving you in this thread are often "the prices their insurance companies paid", ie new parts, available immediately. If you do some shopping around and bargain hunting (something an insurance company won't do), you'll save a ton of cash.
That being said, don't expect to come out of this cheaply or without spending a -ton- of labour on it.
It will probably be better off you just keeping it afterwards - you won't be able to sell it for a whole lot after a major repair.

What a shady dude.
sorry for the wreck, but selling a redone car to someone unaware...real shitty bro' maybe you need to look at doin that.
OH MAN...he's from SA too.
My guess .. he is a young guy (late teens to early 20s) who is going to college (North Texas State) on his parents money. He does not have enough driving experience yet for an S2000. I know I was young once and thought I was a great driver, but now I'm older I see how bad I was.
I suspect the hole in the tire was a result of the accident not a cause.
He will not be able to fix and sell this car. If he tries to fix it cheap it will be obvious to a buyer that is was wrecked. If he has it repaired back to original condition it will be VERY expensive.
Cut your losses....part it out and buy a Civic.
I'm not trying to be a Jackass, but you need something more practical until you get older or more experienced.
Also I will post this in the Texas forums so others are aware of this shady guy.

Anyways your driving isnt the big issue.....its the non oem tires on the car.
If you can afford to fix it then just keep it. You have already learned a valuable lesson in life.
You could fix the major damage (suspension wheels and tires) first and it would be drivable. You could drive the car without the bumpers for a while even though it would look funny. Later when you saved up some cash you could look for replacements or it would be a great excuse for a body kit. Then after saving again you could have it painted. Trying to do all the repairs at once will be really expensive. If you try to do it cheap it will look like crap.

Salar, you're not only a dumbass (for owning an S2000 w/o full coverage when you can afford potential damages), but also a jackass for trying to sell this off as a clean car when you say you'll never drive it again.
You're a disgrace to all S2000 owners...good riddance to you when you move onto another car.
