Default WTF?!

Anyone have any clue how this happens, it can't just be random right? and will it spread?

I got out of my car the other day and while walking away I looked back about 50 times like I always do and noticed something on the driver side fender...

It's at the bottom right of the picture, huge clear coat chunk just chipped off out of nowhere. The only thing that has happened lately was the hurricane that came through but it only dropped the normal amount of rain for any regular Florida day

No but it could be anything. I have rock chips on my fenders, for example.

I mean I have a shit ton of rocks chip on my bumper and some around my light, which you can't really see until you get up close but this was like a huge bubble of clear coat, it wasn't like that when I left my house, then 20 minutes later I get downtown and see it

If its just that one spot i dont think its anything you have to worry about. It might not look good but not much you can do unless you get it fixed.

That still sucks man.
