About 2 years ago the North Texas crowd convinced me to purchase the Spoon X-Brace. My car was new and I was itching to make some modifications without actually cutting up the car. After all I'm a mechanical engineer and couldn't leave a high-quality Honda product alone.

My S was SO-O-O much better to drive than any car I had driven in 3+ years (since selling my Saab 900 Turbo), that I doubted anything could really improve it. The X-Brace was supposed to stiffen the chassis and thus improve rough track handling. I quess it did. I was happy before, and I'm still happy now. I can honestly claim no appreciable difference, but I wouldn't take it off the car, lest it become un-modified .

I've done several other things in my life that cost about $200 that weren't near as much fun or gave the same level of satisfaction. Therefore, I recommend the addition.

I was even thinking about replacing the Honda badges with Rick's. I've heard they improve aerodynamics .
