X-brace works in my opinion. Night and day.

Saved my oil pan from a rock (boulder?) in god's canyons too.

I have the Comptech.

From what I read in the forums, both are excellent products.

Even if it didn't do anything the fact that it might save you from a hole in the pan should make it an important mod in my opinion.

Extensive discussion concerning the effective nature (or rather lack thereof) of X braces on the handling of S cars exists for your perusal on this site.

Strut bar is good for something to hold on to when you're working on your car. That's just about it.

I have a Muz xbrace. The only reason I still have it because I'm too lazy to sell it. I doubt it makes the car any faster, but the front feels more stable when driving over crappy road or railroad tracks. This is especially noticeable if you're driving over crappy roads and turning at the same time. Is that worth $200+? Your call.

I have the Muz. It's definately a handling improvement when you encounter less than perfect road surfaces. The improved stability makes the X-brace a good investment for me, let alone the oil pan being saved a couple of times.

Don't forget to order that Honda replacement convex mirror as well while ordering from Muz. Best shipment ever for me to date.

The Spoon design is lame because they never though about oil changes and the inner triangulated braces are 100% in the way of the draining ol. I had this in my car for 1 oil-change and sold it used. Stupid design, well made product though.

Rick's looks like a wonderful design, had this been around when I bought I may have gotten it.

I have ordered several things from Muz over the years, and have never been pleased witht he quality, therefore I eliminate his bar as an option.

I have the Neuspeed X-brace and Shock Tower Brace. I think their STB is the best design out there because it is a single piece, not one of the silly 3-piece designs with joints that can flex. The X-brace is made of oval aircraft style tubing so it is strong, and yet has a low profile.
