I have just installed the Sony unit...you can carry it from car to house....less than $300.00....and I like it. I know this is a converter type unit but to my geezer ears, it is cd quality. I did not install it in my S2000, but some of you guys and gals more willing to hack and punch around on your car will find it easy. The head unit is just a little larger than a radar detector. I had to get the car player that plays through the cassette unit (like the early personal cd players did) instead of attaching to the antenna port at the rear of the radio, since I also plan to move the unit between cars, and I don't like all the wires hanging around, but in a Tahoe, what difference does it make? Also the power connection is through the cigarette lighter, another wire to dangle! I don't yet, however, like the tuner channel changing method. You have to watch the dial while you rotate a wheel to work your way through 100 channels unless the channel you are looking for is one of the 5 you can preset. It will also supposedly search for stations with similar music or genre, but I am still working on that one! Maybe there is something there I haven't figured out.
I live in BFE (also known as rural North Carolina) and enjoy tuning a station to my favorite music and listening to it for as long as I travel in any direction. Sports and news radio are also available when I get tired of music. I am still learning what is available, but so far, I give Satellite Radio a thumbs up.

I have the pioneer unit in my Crown Vic, the reason it's still in the crown vic and not my S2000 is i don't know where to mount the antenna, they want it mounted on a flat surface but more importantly the highest point on the car, thats a problem because i have the hard top....
