like i said in the other thread

delete all of XVIPER's DIY threads and then let everyone else complain about the influx of shit that will fill the bandwidth of s2ki

and to those of you who said "who cares if xviper leaves", don't post questions on here anymore, because nobody cares.

In the time I've been a member here I've come to view most of the moderators and quite a few of the other members as friends, including a few people I've had words with, but it does my heart good to see all this support for XViper. Not to take away anything from anyone else, because I've gotten lots of help from lots of people here, but XViper did more than anyone else to get me past some early heartburn I had right after I got my car, so in my eye's he's always been special. Now he's doing what he feels he has to do, and as much as I'll miss him, I totally support his decision. He's had altogether too much of the "same old same old," and at times I feel as if I'm not far behind. I can't defend some of his behavior, any more than I can defend some of my own, but it's pretty clear from these petition threads that I'm not the only one who thinks he's a great guy, in spite of any flaws.

Mods, XViper has served us well and long, and he deserves this outpouring of support, so if possible I hope you guys will all help us keep these threads open.

Those of you who don't know him as well as I do, and have concluded that he's a PITA, please consider how the rest of us feel, and let us have this tribute to the man. It won't hurt any of you in any way what-so-ever, and there are a bunch of us that feel that this is the LEAST we can do for a man we have come to admire and respect. PLEASE, just let us do this and let the hard feelings take a day or two off. I promise, nobody will think less of you for it.

The argument that lead to all of this is now history, so let's just let it die and let those who will miss XViper cry on each others shoulders in peace. Certainly that isn't too much to ask.

I think XViper should return.
He was an asset but should be more civil.
Both gentlemen should stop by here and apologize and shake hands and move on.

In my opinion, deleting them would serve Xviper no justice. He did put an unimaginable amount of time into thos DIYs. I say have the admins/mods put them all in a section where only gold members can see them. Then anytime people who said don't care in the first place, post something like, "How to.." or "What happen....", I would be the first to tell them, "check the stickies that Xviper posted,....oops....you're not a gold member and he's no longer here to help you!" Then they'll get the idea of paying money for information.

Do I need to tell you the story of cashiers? Everyone knows what became of them after years of being a cashier? S2ki have 50771 register users. That's 50771 personalities that the Admins/Mods/Supporting casts have to put up with. Can you imagine how much crap they have to put up with? No one is perfect, and by far, no one can please all 50771 people nor do they have to or need to. Some will hate, some will love. At the very least, I think some people(you know who you are) should understand them or show the respect that they've deserve. I know that they have earned it.

For the people who trash on Xviper, have you ever dealth with 50771 personalities for 5+ years? I dare to say not. 530s2k, put x2 next to my name, please!!

I just caught up as to why Xviper decided to leave and I guess there are both sides to the story, but I'm really sorry to see him go like this. He has helped me numerously w/ his threads and PMs. I was actually surprised by his prompt and courteous response, which automatically made me believe that this community was well organized.

Anyway, I'm hoping for his return for the prospects of the future newbies. He was a valuable member to this community and I believe it will never be the same.
