Yeah, it's time for new tires
So I thought I would show you what a set of S02's look like after 13K miles and one track day. The bottom one is total toast!
The tread slots were fused together. The guy at the tire show said my tires looked melted. Yep, tracks are big fun!
You got any good pictures of your tires?

Yeah I got those on my fronts too, but I think they are good for a few more months. I did notice that the inside of the tires wore a lot more than the outside. I wonder why? The car doesn't seem to be misaligned or anything.
I'm just gonna have them check the alignment when I get the fronts replaced.

You did pretty well.
All four of my original tires looked like that with 6000 miles and NO track day! At 7K the rears were slicks...
The insides might wear faster because there is a camber on the front(?) wheels. When you get them aligned to factory specs, make sure your alignment people know what those specs are.
I had WheelWorks install mine, and they were ready to do the alignment... so I asked if they could look up factory specs for an S2000... they had no idea. They were probably going to align them to the factory specs for a Neon. Make sure they know factory specs BEFORE they the an alignment!
If your wheels are aligned with no camber (which, I believe, is incorrect for the S2000), you could get additional wear on the inside or outside, because the camber changes slightly as the suspension reacts to bumps, turns and the car's weight.
