After owning 3 of them I don't think there is enough difference to justify owning more than 1 at a time. They're all good, it just depends on what you like.

AP1 is more raw and exciting.

AP2 is easier and safer to drive for the average driver. AP2 should have really had an automatic transmission option, perfect for the average driver, sales would have doubled or tripled.

Hey if they did it to the NSX why not the Ap2? Not having to shift is refinement ...and not having to think about shifting keeps your attention on fewer controls... which is faster, so just think of how much better then Ap2 really could have been over the Ap1
