I wouldn't say yellow is a cop magnet....

I have yet to get stopped...just drive with a little common sense...

oh yeah....and get a valentine 1 !!!!!!

I love the yellow though...such a head turner and nothing but compliments..

besides, all you have to do is drive up next to a school bus and you have instant camouflage!

when i was buying mine, i was actually hunting for a yellow one. but, when i saw the black with red at the dealership, i fell in love with it and ended up taken it home. the process is ridiculous to keep it clean but it's all worth it.

which color attracts more people yellow or black on red....probably a stupid question but the only thing that keeps drawing me to black is the RED LEATHER! and it must look sweeeet on a black car!! although yellow brings the detail out of the car........

The black with red interior is gorgeous, really goes great with the simple and sporty interior. But if you are going to get a 2002, beware, the new red interior is ALL red. READ: red dash, red door panels, red roll bars, you get the picture. I have the older red interior, its red and black and I absolutely love it. When I was looking for mine, I wanted the silverstone with black interior, but like Jumper, I fell in love. Just putting in my two cents....

I would have seriously considered a yellow one but my fiance hates yellow so we opted for a 2002 blk with red interior. It is absolutely amazing when the car is clean (operative word)... and given the minimum acreage of the S2000, I can deal with cleaning the car on a weekly basis. I guess years of cleaning huge black automobiles (my '95 Impala SS is black and my previous truck was a black Toyota 4X4), makes the S2000 feel like I'm washing a go cart.

Anyway, with the top down and the red roll-bars poking out, it's absolutely amazing. A beautiful contrast of colors.

S2k Desi. I have the Black/Red. Before I bought the car I set my mind to get the black/red. I didn't want the silver b/c it was kind of dull, the white one doesn't go with me, and the other colors were too flashy for me. However, as I'm modding the car I wish I thought about it better, I want to put a carbon fibre hood and a Mugen CF hardtop. I haven't seen any pics. of those two pieces in a black car, but seen them in other colors and they contrast very well and look awesome. It's like having a two-tone car which u can't do with a black car
