Speedracer - I see I'm not the only one that wants to do the CF hood and Mugen CF hardtop. I think the model car on the King Motorsports/Mugen site with the top is black though, you should go take a look. I think the CF would look great with the Silverstone, and I am also wanting to get the CF Veilside wing put on and some gunmetal colored rims. Big plans! You say you saw pics with the hardtop? I would love to see one on a silverstone. Let me know!

Well, IMHO, both color choices poor. Don't get me wrong, I think they look GREAT, BUT:

Having owned a Black S2K in the past, its a serioussss arse pain to keep clean, and will you will get swirls if your not supercareful when cleaning it. However, if your an anal cleaning freak, and like spending time with your S2K, black can be fun too :-)

The Yellow has a pearl in its clear. I've heard nothing but horror stories from even the smallest fender-bender where the body shop couldn't match the color. And bugs (esp. flys) seem to love sitting on the a clean spa-yellow color. Dunno why...looks like a big flower maybe?

This time around, I went with silver. I don't think its nearly as sexy as the black, always looks clean. Matching a metallic isn't easy either, but easier than matching a pearl.

$.02,
Aaron

Get a yellow one, the fewer blacks on the road, the better for me!

Well that didn't sound too racist, did it?

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Pain to keep clean but much better than a banana but that's my opinion. Red interior offers a great contrast but I opted for black on black. The interior is EASY to keep looking 100%. Red will not only show a bit more but also tends to not look so red after a while. Again my opinion. Black fades to a degree as well but for some reason it doesn't appear as noticable.

Its ALL red. Yuck. Not too keen on the red dash, as its really bright. I would imagine that it would fade in the sun too........unless you put some VERY faint tint for the UV protection.

i have an 02 spa yellow and i love it. i have no regrets whatsoever. when i first got my S i was debating between suzuka and spa. i got the spa and i have never been happier. sure there are a lot of bugs that enjoy sitting on my spa but i love cleaning the car so the bugs don't bother me much.

My vote also goes for the yellow, I also have to agree the bugs sure are attracted to it!
