You can't afford the S2000
I find it ironic that the person who started this thread was trying to say that S2000 owners should not act snobby because the car is not anything special and therefore, in his opinion, it is not worthy of the esteem some owners give it.
However, if one looks at this statement it is the thread poster who is the true snob. He is telling us that from his perspective the S2000 is nothing special and a realitively cheap car that high schoolers, and at that not even the well-heeled high schoolers, drive. Therefore, he views himself as being "above" anyone who would be so "low" as to think an S2000 is something of significant value or a basis for pride.
After he revealed his usuer name, I noted that the thread starter was born in 1983 and claims he has had an S2000 for 5 years. By my calculation this means mumsy and/or popsie bought Jr. a S2000 while HE was in high school.
This probably explains why he doesn't think much of the S2000, especially when he says a reason to dismiss it is that high schoolers drive it.
This ultimately reveals a self-loathing and deep insecurity by the poster -- i.e., I had an S2000 in high school, I was/am a loser, therfore having an s2000 did not make me cool so the S2000 is of no particular importance. In otherwords, had the parents only bought me a porsche or better yet a ferrari for me when I was in high school, I'd be happy today.
I conclude by saying that this is why I am glad my parents made me get a job in high school and forced me to buy my own car with my own money. I drove that used car through high school and most of college and babied that thing, and wouldn't let firends eat drive through in it, and respected it, not because it was a super car (it was a POS Chevette), but because I had to buy it with my own money and knew the value of it.

HAHAH Didn't even notice that! This guy bought his car, took it through a time machine and then lived his life just so he could say he has had his 02 for 5 years

He just explained how he's been an owner for 5 years. If you couldn't figure out that he's had two, you should get your brain stem checked.
Oh and by the way, I was definitely being so serious cuz time machines exist
Maybe you should get your brain stem checked
