Your reference to "your girl" reminds me of kid we all knew in high school who claimed he had a "girlfriend" in the next town over, or at another school, etc.

i am in my late 20s. the reason why i didnt respond to the rest of his post is because his original assumption that i got my car in hs from my parents was flawed, thus makign the entire post flawedi have a brother in hs, hence why i was in the hs parking lot.

i bought my own S2000, in addition to 2 other cars that i currently own but I will not talk about because it has nothing to do with this topic.

i have owned both a MY 2000 and MY 20002.

i have two screename because i created one for my significant other to use. she doesnt use it anymore so i use it sometime.

do i watch people nut? sure do. its call XXX (adult entertainment, playboy, etc). of course, in my original post, i was mearly making a joke. sorry if it went over your heads.

i am not going to respond to people in here who ACT like they are 5. posting derogatory pictures, making flaming personal remarks towards me specifically, etc.

let me say again. i wasn't referring to the whole entire S2000 community in my post. i love my S as much as I love my "luxury" cars. I was making a comment about people who tell others they can't afford the car without knowing ANYTHING about the person. I see it all the time on this board. take a look at the insuranc thread just below this thred.

 

Honestly, if that was the case, then why did you create a whole new thread for it... You should've had SOME idea that people were gonna react to it in a less than favorable manner...

Y'all gotta chill. He has his opinions and the rest of us has theirs. He may call the car inexpensive, I think it is expensive (30K for a two seater?). I live in a town where the median income is 34K. I agree with him totally that it ISN'T a supercar. He just treats the car like any car and I don't think that is a problem. I think the bigger issue is that people on these forums try to prove to others who is a bigger enthusiast. Fine, do it if you're like but if you enjoy cars in general, I think it makes no difference how the car is treated. I like all vehicles, do I have a fav? sure I like my s2000 but I also Looove jeeps, bikes, scooters and anything with wheels. Respect the vehicle, don't worship it. Take if for what its worth and lets move on.

I see points of both sides.

If someone posts that they have an s2000 that seems to be a little immature,ask about insurance, or say they are younger than 20 then the World has gone to shit.
I remember reading a thread not to long ago where it was stated something to the effect of:
" OH Well there goes the neighborhood The S2000 has started selling for under 20K used so now we are going to have a bunch of HS kids riding around in our cars." (If referees to the kid who had his mom co-sign and she had bankruptcy, and he was pissed bc he couldn't get the car)

So hellothere gets a little ill and makes a post, I have seen a few posts that are a little more waste of time than this.......ie, "shaving my balls"
Don't get me wrong, it is more than entertaining.

But I can see everyone else point too,
