I'm a sucker for good rubber floormats, man... would I kill for a set of those in my car!

Ya I like rubber mats myself too. But the only problem is that we have a hump in the midsection and that raises the tail end of the mat. In my opinion that looks really ugly. I know because I have two in my car. Don't like carpet mats as they get dirty over time and takes more effort to keep clean.

I never understood the attraction to carpeted mats. Sure, they look all fancy in the showroom, but unless you clean your shoes off with a toothbrush before you get in the car every time, they're totally impractical. A serious pain to care for, and the carpet wears out in a matter of weeks.

Rubber mats make so much more sense for a place to be depositing your shoes while you drive. Not to mention that they last forever, and can be cleaned with a hose.

Nah, I gave that up a while back.
These days I'm just using a Brillo pad and a 9-iron.
