Default Are You happy with your AEM setup?

Hi I was taling with an NSX owner and he asked me if anyone has got an AEM setup work reliably. He told me that the NSX people have nothing but problems and have switched to a different set up TEC3. Is anybody using that I'am not familiar with it

I'm asking because I have considered adding AEM and larger injectors to my setup but all I ever read on here are horror stories and it seems the cars that use them on here soon leave...

any advice is worthwhile thanks

The only problems I have had with both of my AEM's (on my Accord and now on my Ess) is the piping rubbing against something and making noise. On my Accord it rubbed a hole in the pipe. I haven't found a hole yet on the Ess, but the noise is terrible on the Ess when I shut the car off. It sounds like the car is falling apart.

He's talking about the AEM EMS, not a cold air intake

You might check to see if its vibrating against your front sway bar. My last S had the same problem; a piece of pipe insulation around the sway bar solves it very quickly and effectively.
