Or more specifically...I've got a leak. In any heavy rain, water enters the cabin around the black triangle at the front of the window just behind the windshield pillar. I can't tell if its coming in directly in that place or if its sneaking its way down through the weather stripping. Anyone know anything specifically that I can look for to fix it?

I'm confused. The side mirrors are mounted directly to the door so any leak coming from the mirror mounting point would go into the door and drip out the bottom drainage holes.

Any leak coming from the area you speak of is getting around your weather stripping. Spray some water with a hose and see if you can spot where it's coming from. When's the last time you treated your seals with shinetsu grease? You might have a seal that's been deformed from being closed improperly and then taking a set in that new shape allowing water to get in.

Um, I've never treated with shinetsu grease. Where do I get that?

Anyway, forget the thing about the mirror mounting point; I was totally off base. Its leaking around the little black triangle that the window slides up into at the front end of the door, just behind the pillar. Sorry for the confusion.
