Default Are you a S2000 Purist?

Mainly for people who don't track/autocross/drag their S. Do you feel the S2000 is perfect in stock form?

For me I've always been a fan of modding but over the period of time I thought to myself was it really worth all that money, time, and trouble? have I truly gained something more from this? For me the car doesn't feel as special anymore.

A quick example is a cold air intake like injen or aem. Before installing the intake, a stock S2000 would have that vtec ''jerk'' which is something I loved. After putting on the intake, it smoothes out the jerk and the car doesn't feel as ''special''.

Well anyways go vote

Edit: I lied, I would actually modify the wheels (volks) maybe brakes (wildwood) and suspension (tein flex edfc) but besides that I am a S2000 Purist

the S2000 demands A LOT of $$$ to get little/nothing in return

modding this car is mainly a "snake-oil" ordeal

Spent money on a Spoon N1 exhaust based on a video recording. I wish I went to a meet and heard it in person and save some $$$

As for boosted, I've owned a S/C Comptech and it's nice. If I had to pay for a full setup including S/C, drivetrain parts, exhaust, gauges etc. I think I feel it would be better spent on lighter wheels, suspension, and brake kit.

I'm a purist as far as the chassis goes. Honda put a lot of effort into it and a bad shock/spring combo will wreck it. I might do a sway bar, though.

As for power I plan on an intake and some gears (yea, I know, no power, but more useable wheel torque).
