If all you do is cruise around in your S, I see no point in spending money on modifications. Now I'm sure if I had thousands of extra dollars sitting around I'd jump all over a SC or a shorter final drive gear, but I can't imagine dumping money that could be better spent elsewhere into the car. Now I will say if you're racing the car (auto-x or road racing), money to improve performance is well spent. I also don't criticize people for spending their money on upgrading their car, although some things are just in bad taste (i.e. large spoilers, things of that nature).

Edit: ugh, typo.

I just like modifying cars so I do it to the S. I have seen some gains; was it worth the cost? To me, yes. To many it wouldn't be.

I say no now but gears sound really tempting.

I personally wouldn't waste my money on high cost low return items.

I bought this car to make it my own...I love modifying my car..and plan the modifications I do months in advance to make sure that everything will flow with the final concept of what I am looking for in the ultimate street machine ...Once I get turbocharged I will jump back on to the exterior..Until then I'm saving my pennies
