Cars like this?
Anyways, although it may be true that we've all street raced, its never justified by saying, "it's dumb and we've all done it." Its either you've done it and you're absolutely wrong for doing it, more so if you put others in harms way (traffic, pedestrians).
Or you don't.
That being said, I once beat a GTR on the highway in Mexico.

yes i have actually would you like to see vids? go into a turn at 15 mph and gun it and once vtec pops youll do a pretty damn good drift. you guys keep confusing stuff. when i say drift i mean doing a couple of little powerslides for a little while not go all out doing sick ass japanese style drifts. and just because the car isnt made for drag racing doesnt mean i dont enjoy doing it
What you just described as a drift is actually a powerslide.
If you want to drag get a better diff, beefier clutch and FI. If you keep driving your S like a drag car it won't last.

my car was 6500$ i paid for 3700$ and my dad paid for the rest. i get 60 bucks of gas per month and he pays for my insurance as well 55 bucks for a PIP

Put yourself in your dads shoes for a second. How pissed would you be if you paid for about half of your sons car, has to pay for his expensive insurance since he got so many tickets because he is wreckless, you have to pay the actual tickets, then he comes home and says "Uhh dad, I need new tires". Then the next few days, "Uhh dad, somethings wrong with my car. I was drag racing my friends now its making weird noises in the rear end and it won't go into gear anymore". Then he has to pay for your new clutch and diff. Then who knows, the next visit you get could be from the police saying your son wrecked drag racing and was killed. Even if its an accident, it happens all the time. You can haul ass all the time, but your young and aren't a real experienced driver. I am by no means a crazy experienced driver either, but over time I know how to handle my car in the correct way. You're probably going to shit bricks when you find out how much money it takes just to have a nomal life with everything you need.
Drop it down a notch, be grateful for what you have and what your family is doing for you, then try to find a driving school near you with that drag strip money. Your dads money will be well spent there.
whoever this s2papi kid is...someone in Miami please go over and whip his ass.
People who drive like that in LA get shot...and for good reason.
Oh, and their cars get crushed by the police.
And to say that "going to a track day would cure me of the desire to race" may be the dumbest thing you've said -- and that's REALLY SAYING SOMETHING.
You ever gone Karting?
What happens the second you get into you car to drive home?
Your brain, wired to race, wants to keep the race going.
Look, kid. I'm sure you're raking in 'the bitches' in high school.
And, when you're 40 and you look back on this time, you'll either:
1) think it was the greatest time of your life
or
2) wish you knew now (at 16) when you will hopefully someday learn.
I hope it's #2...but I fear it's #1, and if it is...you've already peaked.
Either way, you're in a for a serious ass-beating in the near future...either from another motorist, the family member of someone you accidentally kill...or from the Universe bitch slapping you back to your senses.

no i chose an s2k instead of whatever you just mentioned because, the bitches love it, it moves half decently, convertible+++, leather++, RWD+++ and its a honda <3 now its true the tires are expensive but you can just go get a couple of steelies at the junkyard for real cheap and drift on those. im not talking about going all out ken block status im just saying going to the track occasionally to let out some steam. you guys really do know how to criticize everything people say.
this car isnt a civic or an integra..dont treat it like trash.
douchebag.
i'd kick your ass in person if i ever met you. Someone needs to kick you out of this forum..and out of your s2000.
