everybody knows the consequences bro ofcourse its dangerous and expensive and all of that but whoever tells me they have never raced is talking pure shit. as i said before im definitely like most other teens and i do alot of stupid shit a little too often but atleast im realistic and i look at things the way they are instead of living in some little fantasy land where people all race at the track all nice and safe. they dont. either cause they cant afford it or they wanna show off or they get caught in the moment people do it! whether teens or adult they street race. and you guys really need to stop saying "cars like this" its not like were driving 500hp s2k's. i could think of a million cars that are faster and easier to get than an s2k. these cars are actually pretty slow i mean they have a little 4 banger engine.
I agree with Whitefire 100% on this one.
It's crazy how all the younger guys come in here and put a bad name on all the rest of them. I'm only 19 and a lot of the comments I read on this site seem like they have they comprehension of a 5th grader. Pretty sad.
s2papi, did you or are you paying for your s2000? I just don't see a 16 year old going to school, having a good paying job, paid for or paying for an s2000, insurance (which would be high as hell since you got so many tickets), paying those speeding tickets, gas, money to go to the drag strip, ect.. At my age I pay every one of my car payments, pay for my full coverage insurance, have a full time job at a credit union, pay for my own food/cloths/personal items, and pay for all the mods and maintenance on my s2k and I barely make it by. I had to save and save to get the things I have, and I really don't blame your parents for not letting you go to the drag stip for obvious reasons. Street racing like you do will have consequences, if its broken parts on your car or ones that need replaced, to even getting your life taken away from you. You haven't been driving for that long and you still have a ton to learn. From experience (even though i'm young also) you need to turn it down a notch and respect what you have and not abuse it just because you need an adrenaline rush. I am by no means trying to talk you down or talk smack, but it's the truth.
Just something to think about.

Anyways, although it may be true that we've all street raced, its never justified by saying, "it's dumb and we've all done it." Its either you've done it and you're absolutely wrong for doing it, more so if you put others in harms way (traffic, pedestrians).
Or you don't.
That being said, I once beat a GTR on the highway in Mexico.

Despite me coming off quite harsh I am really just trying to make sure that you don't continue to tarnish the reputation of teenagers everywhere, detroy your car, or kill yourself.
