im not blaming them im just saying i wouldnt street race if they let me go to the track and stuff however they dont and as a kid i get the temptation to race
Would you be willing to pay for going to the track? A typical track day hosted by speed ventures is $180 just for the day. Factor in gas, fluid changes, cost of replacing tires, possibly crashing, cracking rotors, replacing brake pads, buying a helmet, food for the day, and you'll realize that it's not just as easy as having somebody let you go to the track.

Are you going to be able to afford it? I know at 16 I couldn't have paid for a track day myself. I'm 20 with a full time job and it's still hard for me to justify the costs of going to the track. I have been before and it was the best time I've ever had driving my car but it sure did put a dent in my account.

Saying your a kid and you get the temptation to race is just stupid and in no way justifies any of your reckless driving antics. That proves that you are immature and shouldn't be allowed to have a sports car. Have the itch to race? Go to your local go-kart track.

Great. Intellegent responses like that are just another reason why most people think teenagers are too irresponsible to own cars like this. Thanks for contributing to the statistics.

Personally I don't like street races because I know the consequences that come with it. It's a 24 hour jail stint minimum plus up to a $1000 fine here in CA, not to mention being on driving probation ranging from 90 days to 6 months. If that's not enough reason to not street race maybe the possibility of injuring or killing someone else or yourself is.

everybody knows the consequences bro ofcourse its dangerous and expensive and all of that but whoever tells me they have never raced is talking pure shit. as i said before im definitely like most other teens and i do alot of stupid shit a little too often but atleast im realistic and i look at things the way they are instead of living in some little fantasy land where people all race at the track all nice and safe. they dont. either cause they cant afford it or they wanna show off or they get caught in the moment people do it! whether teens or adult they street race. and you guys really need to stop saying "cars like this" its not like were driving 500hp s2k's. i could think of a million cars that are faster and easier to get than an s2k. these cars are actually pretty slow i mean they have a little 4 banger engine.

drag strip? should've bought a dodge neon srt4.

drift? should've bought a white and black ae-86.

$30 for drifting? yeah, i drive a car that runs on unlimited tread tires, bulletproof drivetrains and suspension arms that make my wheels perpendicular too
not to mention when i go to those $20 drag days i get to flaunt my invulnerable clutch.

no i chose an s2k instead of whatever you just mentioned because, the bitches love it, it moves half decently, convertible+++, leather++, RWD+++ and its a honda <3 now its true the tires are expensive but you can just go get a couple of steelies at the junkyard for real cheap and drift on those. im not talking about going all out ken block status im just saying going to the track occasionally to let out some steam. you guys really do know how to criticize everything people say.

This car was not meant as a drag car. If you haven't figured that out yet I feel sorry for you.
