i wonder how many owners under 18 count using their parents money as paying for it. Frankly, at and before 18 a car that stickers out at 32k was as likely as being giving a ferrari. What possible jobs allow you to buy such a car. Some aquantinces of mine sell stuff and drive such cars, but i can concieve of being paid enough money at that age.

). I did that for four summer and saved up about $20000, and I didn't know what I was going to use the money for so I was just saving it. I started talking to the CFO at my Dad's work and he would slide me a tip or two on what stocks to invest in. We started talking one day and he told me to invest in small technology company sure enough two weeks later the stock nearly doubled they invented some new processor or something. I had invested 10K and came out with about 18K putting me at a little over 28K. So I decided I wanted to buy a car, but my Dad wanted me to help significantly pay for college, like at least 50%. So there goes the car, sure enough since busted my ass in High School, and got pretty lucky on the SAT and ended up getting a 90% scholarship to college, Dad said since I worked hard he would pay for the 10% for college, I went out and bought the beautiful Formula Red 02 in my driveway. I don't regret it one bit.Happy vtecing all.

I'm 26, bought my car used for $25k.
I put about $10k down, and am paying 4.5% to finance
the remainder. I still owe around $9k, with a monthly
payment of $300, which equates to about 9% of my
income after taxes and a 20% pre-tax deduction that
goes into my 401k plan.
Once you add gas and insurance and maintenance, I figure
my cost of *ownership* is more close to $525/month.
I consider this a big chunk of my income even though it's
a lowe percentage it seems than some others spend.
For me its worth it, because I enjoy the car so much. I don't
spend money on anything else but rent, so I'm saving
for property.
My frank thought is that when I'm ready to buy property the
car will be paid off, and it will have helped me to establish
my credit, and I'll also have a car without a car payment.
And yes, this car was entirely paid for by myself. My
parents gave me a Volvo wagon with about 180,000 miles
on it to get me started!!!

Here is my story...
I've been working since I was 16 at Sears and stuff.. When I was 18 I opened my first and only records store. I found out I had a talent in communications and promotions.. A few months after I turned 18 I was hired by a Record Label, when I turned 19 I was moved up to VP of Promotions... And of course I got a nice pay raise!!
I do alot of promotion events across the US and I get nice Bonuses everytime things go well for the company. My job mainly consists with setting up and promoting our groups, I make tons of phone calls a day to dozens of different radio stations across the good ole' USA.
I also started to getting involved with the process of collecting royalties for our artists and composers. So then I was also made VP of Licensing/Promotions.. Then I sold my store and bought my first house, which I'm now renting out to three tenats. The house is being payed for by my tenants plus I get some extra money from that every month. Then I turned 20 and I bought the beautiful 2002 "S." I turned 21 in this past March and I'm still working my ass off. Oh yea did I mention that I'm still going to the University? I'm thinking about getting a law degree, not to be a lawyer but to have an extensive law background.. I love to read books concerning different aspects of law...
Most of the weekends I'm out of town on business, which I thought sounded nice at first but now it gets tiring sleeping at 3 am and waking up at 9 to go to some interviews for radio stations.. I am about to by a home for my self, but I'm still undecided.. I'm not married yet, but I'm getting there with a beautiful women that I meet a few years back. She's 22..
Thank you guys for listening
I tend to get lonely extremly fast, maybe that's my I work so much!
